    Wow, on the same day we learned that the New York Times chose Prima Pils as the best pilsner they could find, we also find ourselves pitted against the upstart Philadelphia Brewing Company in a contest for Philadelphia’s “Golden Local” hosted by NBC Philadelphia. Now, we are confident that our Philly area fans will recognize the great qualities in Victory beer to make us the Golden Local, but, that victory will take votes. Like yours.   • And that bar happened to be Victory Brewing Company on Saturday, April 25, as Nicole Frankl, the reigning Hallertau Hop Queen traveled from her native Germany along with representatives from the Association of German Hop-Growers to celebrate the release of five new Victory drafts brewed with all German hops. Queen Nicole was on hand, talking hops and as the center of countless photo opportunities with Victory guests that afternoon.

  • Victory is Getting FRESH

    Victory chefs are keeping it local and herbal this summer with a hands-on approach that you are sure to appreciate. We’ll be offering the freshest flavors that Mother Nature can create as we harvest seasonal herbs from our ‘Victory Garden’ located about two miles away on the Paradise Farm Camp property. There we have converted a quarter acre to the production of quality culinary herbs that are grown pesticide and herbicide free. Also expect to see more produce featured on our menu that has been grown locally as we continue to support local producers.

A perfect warm weather thirst quencher and an ideal gift for Dad on Father’s Day, June 21, it will be available for sale at all seven Iron Hill locations in 750 mL bottles for $18.50.

    Honey Do Wit is the newest addition to Iron Hill’s Bottled Reserve, a collection of fine beers crafted in small batches.   • Can you believe another Market season is upon us? This Saturday May 2 is opening day of the West Chester Growers Market and Chile Spot is thrilled to be starting its third year with the Market. As Joanne and I reflect on the many friends we’ve met over the years at various venues there is no doubt that the West Chester Market crowds ranks at the top of our list.
