13 Years, 30 Medals; Iron Hill Brewery Brings Home Medals from The Great American Beer Festival
September 29th, 2009 No CommentsWILMINGTON, DE – Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant, with eight locations in the mid-Atlantic region, won a gold and silver medal for its beers at the prestigious Great American Beer Festival (GABF) held his past weekend in Denver, CO. Iron Hill has entered the GABF and medaled every year for the past 13, bringing their total medals to 30.

Sovana Celebrates Oktoberfest
September 16th, 2009 No Comments… Weekly classes featuring the beers of Germany every Friday in October
GULPH MILLS, PA (September 16, 2009) – Savona Restaurant [100 Old Gulph Road, Gulph Mills, PA; 610-520-1200], is known for hosting sold out wine classes every Friday. But this October, Savona’s sommelier, Melissa Monosoff will celebrate Oktoberfest by offering five classes featuring the beers of Germany and more. These special beer classes will begin promptly at 5:30 every Friday in October. The cost is $25 per guest and includes a selection of six beers as well as hors d’oeuvres prepared by executive chef Andrew Masciangelo.

Cheese Farm Tour!
September 16th, 2009 No CommentsShellbark Hollow Farm is located in West Chester, PA and makes award winning artisan goat cheeses, cheese spreads, yogurt and kefir from their purebred and adorable Nubian goats. Everything is hand-made on site, packaged and delivered fresh to local markets, restaurants, vineyards and specialty shops.
