Pass the pasta Mamma. It-s-a-family-style!

Great place to come for group gatherings. Request the tables in the kitchen for a quirky dining experience. Portions are huge and doggie bags are a given for left over pastas, pizzas and ummmm maybe some tiramisu too.

WC Dish recommends: Macaroni Rosa (grilled chicken, broccoli, mushrooms, peas, rosa sauce) or the Quattro al Forno (sampling of all the baked pasta specialties)

    Ignore the negative reviews!
My mom will definitely agree with Charlie. The apple gorgonzola salad is delicious, although a bit filling. She also loves the chicken marsala. I love the fettucine supremo (pasta with chicken, peppers, broccoli in alfredo sauce YUM). We will be returning again! :)

This is Italian food for Non-Italians. In other words, slop.

I agree with Dr. Zibbs the chicken marasala is excellent but aside from the atmosphere, there is not much else that is. it is a shame bc I used to really like this place. The past few times I have been there, has been either horrible or so-so. Go somewhere else for italian food but do not follow Dr. Zibbs advice, bc if you want ok italian food, you might as well come here bc its closed and cheaper. Maggiano's wasn't that good either. Make the drive down to Enzo's off of 202 south, near painters crossing. It'll be on the right. Grade D+.

If you want large portion Italian, just go to Maggios in KOP. It's farther and pricer, but 100x better. Buca does not provide the experience, value or quality I look for in a Chain.
  • Is that a picture of nuns shooting rifles? Now I've seen everything. You've entered the kitchy world of Buca di Beppo. Although it can get extremely loud, it's not bad compared to the other family chain restaurants around.

The pasta dishes are pretty good but the chicken marsala is excellent!

A pretty cool gimmick they have is allowing customers to actually eat in the kitchen. In fact, when you're brought to your table, they walk you through the kitchen where the actors that portray kitchen workers perform. The REAL kitchen workers prepare the food in the dungeon. Don't ask to go there or you will be shuffled out promtly.
  • Huge portions, decent food, kid-friendly and their balsamic vinegar is to die for. Couple it with their rosemary bread and olive oil and it's pretty much the best thing I've ever eaten.

The apple gorgonzola salad is the best! I've started making it at family gatherings and it's been a real hit. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
